The Pint-Sized Houston Hoodlum Prospect Threw Passes Out the Driver's Window From the Passenger's Seat.

As reported by the Houston Chronicle:

A 14-year-old was arrested and charged with felony murder Tuesday, a day after his cousin was fatally shot inside a car during an attempted drive-by shooting in north Harris County.

The teen, whose name wasn't released, is accused of shooting Jesus E. Zamores, 18, while they were in a car together, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

The shooting happened around 6:30 a.m. in the 12000 block of E Marsham Circle. Two people told deputies they had been shot at by someone in a Hyundai Sonata while they were walking to catch a school bus, according to the sheriff's office.

Investigators on Monday told ABC 13 that the Sonata drove by the targeted victims once, and that a person inside opened fire and appeared to miss. The car then circled back and the passengers fired on the victims again, while moving in the opposite direction.

Neither of the targeted people were hit, and shortly after the Hyundai crashed into a home on the street. Zamores was found shot dead in the drivers seat, according to the sheriff's office. Investigators believe Zamores was shot as the other teenager was firing out the drivers-side window from the passenger seat, according to the sheriff's office.

The Sonata had been reported stolen the night before, according to the sheriff's office. A wall of the house the car crash into destroyed, but no one inside the home was injured.
