Referees Were Investigating a "Suspicious Incident" When They Saw Three Players Get Into a Car and Leave.

Two people were arrested after one of them fired a gun while running away from police and hit an innocent bystander in their home.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said officers were investigating a "suspicious incident" when they saw three people get in a car and leave. Police said they pursued the vehicle until the intersection of North 43rd and Odell Streets when the three people got out and started running around 11:30 p.m.
Officers caught 29-year-old Eric Brown immediately. He was given a misdemeanor summons for resisting an officer and released.
BRPD said an officer was chasing 18-year-old Mikel Moore when the teenager fired a shot at the officer behind him. Moore missed and the bullet hit a nearby resident in their home. The victim was taken to hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
Moore was apprehended by a K9 officer, but the third suspect is still at large. Moore was booked with eight counts of attempted first-degree murder.
