Two Referees Were Working Off-Duty In Full Uniform When a Disturbance Occurred in a Bar's Parking Lot.

As reported by FOX 59:
Police are investigating after one person was killed and five others, including an IMPD officer, were injured in a shooting early Sunday morning on the east side of Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just after 1:30 a.m., officers responded to the 9400 block of East Washington Street on the report of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they located four men and a woman with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
Police said officers provided medical treatment to the victims and the officer until medics arrived on the scene.
The officer and four other victims were transported to an area hospital in stable condition. IMPD provided the ages of the four civilians:
42-year-old man
45-year-old man
45-year-old man
33-year-old woman
Investigators said two officers were working off-duty employment in full uniform when a disturbance took place in the parking lot of a nearby bar. At some point, gunfire was exchanged between the officers and at least one suspect.
Then, around 1:50 a.m., a man arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds. Detectives said he died from his injuries.
