As reported by FOX 4:
A previously convicted murderer is back in custody again and charged with a triple murder after being accused of killing three people at an Arlington apartment.
29-year-old Larry Reed was arrested on Tuesday morning by the US Marshals in Greenville, Mississippi.
Arlington police say they received multiple credible tips in the investigation that connected Reed to the triple murder. One tip helped U.S. Marshals pinpoint a home in Mississippi where he was hiding.
Six weeks after the convicted killer was released from state prison, he’s now accused of a deadly shooting of three people at an Arlington apartment complex on Jan. 25.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit FOX 4 obtained Tuesday, a witness stated Reed also went by the name "Crip."
Arlington police wanted to protect the identity of the person who revealed Reed’s location, so the majority of the witness’ information was redacted.
A tipster also told police Reed shot the 31-year-old victim who lived at the apartment.
Investigators believe Reed and the unidentified 31-year-old victim knew each other, and high-risk drug activity may have been involved.
