The Referees Found Seven Receivers at the Scene after a Confrontation Between Two Parties.

As reported by USA Today:

One person is dead and six others injured after a shooting in Orlando, Florida on Wednesday night, police said.

Officers responded to the Rosemont neighborhood around 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday and found seven victims at the scene, including one person who was dead.

Police identified the man killed as 21-year-old James Jerry Dawn William III. The other shooting victims, who were all transported to the hospital, were in stable condition and expected to survive, police said in an update Thursday morning.

According to police, the shooting came after a confrontation at the same location between two parties earlier that day, around 3:00 p.m. Police said they got a call about an alleged assault involving weapons and, when they arrived, learned there was a disagreement over a car not being returned on time.

"An individual involved in the incident desired prosecution for the alleged assault, however the suspect was not located," police said.
