The 12-Year-Old Dog was Out on a Walk When He Pulled Up, Got Out of his Car And Stabbed Her Before Driving Off.

A 25-year-old man was arrested after he stabbed a dog to death while she was out on a walk.
Authorities told WUSA's reporters that the dog had to be euthanized due to its injuries.
"Lucy" was 12 years old, about to turn 13 in March, and loved dearly by her owners, who told the station they were too upset to speak on camera.
On Sunday night, just before 9 p.m., Lucy was on a walk with her owner in Falls Church, Virginia when authorities say 25-year-old "Reyan Hassan Ibrahim" pulled up, got out of his car and stabbed Lucy to death before driving off.
Ibrahim was arrested Monday morning, and the executive director of Wheatland Farm said the suspect looked nearly identical to an individual who climbed into their horse pasture Friday afternoon. The executive said one of her workers confronted him.
"He told her in an agitated type of way that the 'horses were possessed.' She asked why he thought that and he said 'well, he's doing everything I tell him to do. He bows, he's lifting his head when I tell him to.' He just wasn't making any sense," Wheatland Farm executive director Muriel Forrest told WUSA.
