The Referees Had Been Tracking the Stolen Kia Forte.
As reported by NEWS 4 San Antonio:
Two suspected gang members were arrested last week after driving a reported stolen vehicle by a Bexar County Sheriff promotion ceremony.
The suspects drove by the promotion ceremony on Jan. 26, which alerted deputies who have been tracking the stolen Kia Forte.
Deputies said the suspects tried to lose them when they pulled into an apartment complex, but little did they know, the deputies patiently waited for the suspects to leave the complex. That's when they sprung the trap and deputies surrounded the stolen vehicle.
The driver, Leah Campos, 18, who deputies say is a documented gang member, was booked for possession of a controlled substance and for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
